Every Schedappy account has a unique URL in the form of "companyname.schedappy.com". The login page is unique to your company, so you can give your managers and staff simple instructions for logging into your site. |
In the Account Preferences screen, you can set the day of week you want to start schedules on, define the time segment for staffing requirements (Hourly or Half-hourly), and choose between Job Level and Skill based scheduling. You also define your job levels or skills on this page. |
The Locations page shows you all the locations for your account. By default, you'll see only the currently active locations. From this page, you can Edit the location details such as operating hours, set your Staffing Requirements, and setup Special Events (periods of time with special staffing requirements). |
The Staffing page shows you the total staff required throughout the day for each day of the week. You can set staffing requirements at the Hourly or Half-hourly level based on the setting in your Account Preferences. |
The Daily Staffing Requirement page is where you set staffing levels for a specific day. If you are setup to use Job Level or Skills based scheduling, you'll see all your Job Levels/Skills listed on this page. To increase/decrease staffing, just click the up or down arrow next to any number in the Total row. Then adjust your requirements for each Job Level/Skill as appropriate. As you work through this, the screen will highlight any problem areas. |
The Staff page shows you a list of all staff in your organizations. If you have multiple locations, your managers of those locations will only see staff assigned to their locations. By default, you see only currently active staff. |
Clicking Edit on any staff listing on the Staff page allows you to set the person's availability and setup any exceptions (vacation, extra availability, etc.). You also assign job levels or skills on this page. |
The Schedule List page shows a list of all schedules that exist for a certain date. If you have multiple locations, your managers will only see schedules for locations they are responsible for. |
The Weekly Schedule page shows a summary of the weekly schedule. You can print the schedule from this page, or click on any day of the week to edit that day's schedule. |
The daily schedule screen allows you to edit the schedule for any day. The screen shows the availability for each employee and validates that you don't schedule someone outside of their available time. |
The Quick View shows a bar chart display of all scheduled shifts for a day. This allows a manager to quickly verify that they have coverage throughout the day. |
The Validation view shows how the schedule compares to the staffing requirements. Any time segment when you have over or under staffed is easily visible. |
Once a day is past, you can't edit the schedule. So this read-only page allows you to see historical schedules without fear of overwriting them. |
You can print a schedule out to post in the break room or other location. The schedule exports to a PDF format so you can save them electronically if necessary. |
